ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Age eligibility (As on 1st April of the academic session for which admission is
sought).
- NURSERY – Minimum 3 years to maximum 04 year 6 months.
- L.K.G - Minimum 4 years to maximum 05 year 6 months.
- U.K.G - Minimum 5 years to maximum 06 year 6 months.
- Class I – Minimum 6 years to maximum 07 year 6 months.
- Class II onwards – on the basis of previous class.
ADMISSION OPENS IN THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER EVERY YEAR FOR THE UPCOMING SESSION.
REGISTRATION
A duly filled registration form available from the school office or website is to
be submitted with the non-refundable, non-transferable Registration Fee within 7
days from the date of issue of form or the last date given.
- A copy of birth certificate must be attached with the registration form.
- Students who have attended other schools need to submit a photocopy of the report
card of the previous year from the last attended school.
NOTE- THE REGISTRATION DOES NOT IN ANY WAY GUARANTEE ADMISSION.
ADMISSION TEST
The children who have registered will have to appear for an admission test (for
class III onwards), which may be written or oral as laid down by the School for
different levels. The test will be held for English, Hindi, Mathematics and/or any
other subject which may be considered necessary.
- The selection of the candidates will depend upon the child’s performance in the
written test/ interview and availability of seats in the concerned class. Special
consideration is made for Dipsites.
- The date of the result of the interview & the last date for the submission of fee
will be specified at the time of the written test/interview.
- Based on the admission test and other criteria, the School reserves the right to
admit any student who is found fit for admission or refuse admission without assigning
any reason. For all matters related to admissions, the decision of the Principal/Management
will be final.
ADMISSION
- The names of the children who are selected as per the admission procedure will be
displayed on the notice board. International students will be informed by e-mail.
- Students offered admission must complete the following formalities before joining,
or the offer will stand cancelled and the seat will be passed on to the next student
in the ‘Waiting List’.
- Submission of the evidence of date of birth if not yet given.
- Evidence of passing the last class or promotion to present class.
- Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school, which should be a recognized
school, affiliated to the All India Board or a State Board of Education. Transfer
Certificates have to be signed by DEO, if transferred from other states.
- A medical certificate from a qualified registered doctor showing the record of vaccination/
immunization etc. as well as mention of any particular ailment or health condition
about which the school ought to know.
- 4 Passport size Photographs.
- Proof of residence of the child (Copy of Aadhaar card / Voter’s ID / Passport).
PAYMENT OF FEE
- Admission fee is payable by a new student at the time of admission as per the schedule
laid down by the school. Payment can be made through a bank draft, ‘at par’ cheque
or online. Demand Draft should be made in the name of ‘Delhi Public Sec. School,
khurai’ .
- Children for whom fee has not been paid up-to-the date may be prevented from taking
school or Board examinations. Transfer certificate will not be issued until all
outstanding is cleared.
- The fee payable is subject to change in every academic year. Parents will, however,
be informed of any such changes.

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED BY DAY SCHOLARS/PARENTS FROM REGISTRATION
TO ADMISSION
- Step 1 – Registration Fees Purchase of Prospectus
costing Rs.500 (includes fee structure & admission form)
- Step 2 – Please read the prospectus carefully and
fill the application form.
- Step 3 – Submit the admission form & attach the
attested copies of his/her certificates, latest report card (photocopy) and 2 recent
passport size colour photographs of the child.

- Step 4 – Collect the syllabus & date for the entrance
test and the meeting with the Principal.
- Step 5 – Date & time for entrance test will be informed
by the admission in-charge on the same day.
- Step 6 – You are required to come to the school
along with the child carrying the registration slip for the entrance test. This
test may take maximum 3 hours from III to class XI. (The child must bring his/ her
own writing materials.)
- Step 7 – The result will be declared by the end
of the week.
- Step 8 – Document to be submitted by the parents
after the confirmation of the admission are as follows:

- Transfer Certificate and Report Card
- Birth Certificate
- Photographs of mother & father
- Aadhar card (Child, Mother,Father)
- Income certificate and caste certificate.

Application for Transfer Certificate
RULES FOR GETTING TRANSFER CERTIFICATE
- For getting Transfer Certificate, Character Certificate etc. the parents have to
apply in
- On receipt of approval from the Principal / Director, Transfer Certificate will
be issued and parents can collect the T.C. of their ward(s) after SEVEN days of
the submission of the application.
- Transfer Certificate will not be issued under the following circumstances :
- The parent / guardian has failed to submit the Transfer Certificate from the previous
school where the child has studied.
- Failed to submit the Birth Certificate of the ward from Municipal Corporation of
the area or Registration of Birth &
- The dues pertaining to the school have not been paid.
- Student may be asked to leave the school on the following circumstances:
- Non-payment of School Dues
- Parents repeatedly following to meet the teachers in the school
- Using unfair means in any examination or attempting to influence any teacher
- Unsatisfactory progress in other students.
- Conduct harmful to others.
- Normally the application for withdrawal should reach us by 31st of the current session.
- Parents/Guardians, who apply for the T. C. between 1st Jan. to 28th Feb, will be
required to pay annual charges, first quarter (3 months) tuition fee.
- Parents/Guardians, who apply for the T.C. between 1st March to 31st April will be
required to pay annual charges, six months tuition fees and transport fee.
- However, transfer cases of government employees, army personnel and any other emergency
cases will be considered on merit by the Director (After providing proper Documents
in case of transfer or any other).
